Welcome back Alana to the DE staff! She has really enjoyed being back at the studio teaching those precious tot babes. "There's something very nostalgic about having competed on the DE competition team and also being on staff, to then end up walking my own kids back into the studio."
Alana is a Visalia native and started dance when she was three. She has over twenty years of dance experience, 10 years of competing, and nine years of teaching dance under her belt. Many competition awards and titles are in her dance history. She has also enjoyed choreographing over the years for various local performing groups, including one of El Diamante's musicals, Guys and Dolls. "Dance always has and always will be a passion, but the love for the teaching element is what is so fulfilling."
In her day job, you can see her in her 8th year as education specialist and department chair for the special education department at El Diamante High School. When she's not teaching somewhere, her supportive husband Travis, and three girls (Kaydence, Kinley, and Kyler) keep her on her toes.
