Mrs. Adrienne N. Terry is a woman with a passion for Theatre Arts. She comes to us with over 20 years of performing arts experience under her belt. Adrienne has trained as a vocal performer, a musical theatre dancer, and as an actress. She has studied under Chris Mangels, Linda Amaral, Martha Kelly-Fierro, and James McDonnell through the Theatre Arts Program at College of the Sequoias. Adrienne was a four year Dance Force student under the direction of Michelle Lapp in high school. She also grew up competing on several dance competition teams at respected dance studios in our valley. Encore theater Company, TCOE, and The Enchanted playhouse are some of her fondest memories as she experienced community theater as young child. In her adult career; Adrienne helped develope the “onstage” traveling musical program through Tulare County Office of Education’s Theatre Company, and worked for the TCOE theatre company for several years. She currently serves as a choreographer for high school musicals through Visalia Unified Schools, and works as a freelance choreographer/director of elementary school musicals inside our public school system. For the past eight years, Adrienne has served our community as the owner/artistic director of The Ruby Slipper Performing Arts Academy, where she was able to train hundreds of young performers, and run a business to promote the arts in our youth. Adrienne is looking forward to bringing the world of theatre to Dancers Edge, and is eager to reach even more students in our Valley, by providing a program for young thespians, who desire the world of performing.
