Tegan Horton
Teacher

Tegan Horton has been a dedicated member of the Dancers Edge family for 14 years, training under the expert guidance of Rebekah Meinert, Tyler Grant, and Marie Barlow. Throughout her journey, Tegan has mastered all styles of dance and has been a standout performer on the Dancers Edge competitive team since the age of seven. Her commitment to excellence has earned her numerous overalls and judge's choice awards, particularly for her outstanding technique.
With five years of experience as a teacher's assistant and four years providing private instruction, Tegan has cultivated a deep passion for teaching. In addition to her dance achievements, she played the role of Te Fiti in T3's inaugural year, showcasing her versatility in both dance and theater.
Currently, Tegan is a sophomore at College of the Sequoias, majoring in Dance. She continues to hone her craft under the direction of Rebekah Meinert as a second-year member and captain of the COS Dance Team. Her dedication to her art has led her to be accepted into the prestigious CLI Conservatory in Massachusetts, where she will begin training in September 2025 to pursue her dream of becoming a professional dancer.
Tegan is thrilled to share her passion for dance and theater with the next generation of dancers at Dancers Edge. "I have learned an immense amount of life skills during my time at Dancers Edge that I will continue to utilize as I pursue a career in dance. I am so incredibly thankful for the support of the teachers and parents and the unforgettable friendships I have made. There is absolutely nothing like the bonds created within the doors of Dancers Edge."
